Policy 1 – Copyrights & Trademarks
1.1 The content included in this website, including but not limited to design, graphics, and text is copyright protected by Responsible Distribution Canada (RDC). Copyright 2016. All rights reserved. All trademarks are registered to RDC.
Policy 2 – Use of Website & Program Material
2.1 Unless otherwise specified, the information Responsible Distribution Canada (RDC) provides through the Chemical Supply Chain Management (CSCM) Diploma Program is for your personal use only. You may not modify, copy, distribute, display, reproduce, publish, license, or sell any of the information obtained from the CSCM without written permission from the Association.
2.2 You are subject to download and print hard copies of the material for your personal use, but are prohibited from distributing, reproducing, or displaying the CSCM information without written permission from the Association.
2.3 Harassment in any manner or form will not be condoned. This includes obscene, abusive, defamatory, invasive, or threatening language in locations such as e-mail, chats, and forums.
Policy 3 – Exams
3.1 You are given one attempt to successfully complete the exam.
3.2 You must complete the multiple choice component of the exam in no more than three (3) hours. Your session will automatically end and you will be logged out when your time reaches three (3) hours.
3.3 Semester 1 Final Exam: The multiple choice and case study are both components of the final exam. Final grade component values are as follows: Multiple choice: 50%; Case study: 50%
3.4 Semester 2 Mid-Term: The mid-term is worth 35% of your final grade.
3.5 Semester 2 Final Exam: The multiple choice and case studies are both components of the final exam. Final grade component values are as follows: Multiple choice: 35%; Case studies: 30% (6% for each case study).
3.6 Semester 3 Final Exam: The multiple choice and case studies are both components of the final exam. Final grade component values are as follows: Multiple choice: 35%; Case studies: 65% (16.25% for each case study).
3.6 Any incomplete components are the responsibility of the participant.
3.7 You must receive a minimum of seventy percent (70%) to pass and be eligible for the diploma and credits.
3.8 You are not permitted to reference any course material during the exam period. Should RDC’s records indicate that you have accessed any course material (student guide, quizzes, case studies, etc.) during your exam period, other than the exam itself, you will be required to provide an explanation, receive a mark of zero (0%), and will not receive a refund.
3.9 You will receive your final mark within seven (7) to ten (10) business days.
3.10 You have the right to request an explanation of your final mark.
3.11 Although you have the right to debate your final mark, RDC is able to consider or negate your reasoning.
Policy 4 – Online Activity
4.1 RDC has access to records of your online activity on the CSCM Diploma Program website. Activity is logged with a date and time stamp.
Policy 5 – Program Contract Deadline
5.1 The first day of your program contract will be one (1) business day after RDC receives your registration information and full payment.
5.2 Semester 1: You are given six (6) months to complete the semester, consisting of seven (7) lessons.
5.3 Semester 2: You are given twelve (12) months to complete the semester, consisting of eight (8) lessons.
5.4 Semester 2: If you registered for one or more individual lessons, you are given two (2) months to complete each lesson (i.e., if you register for two [2] lessons, you are given four [4] months to complete the lessons).
5.5 Semester 3: You are given twelve (12) months to complete the semester, consisting of seven (7) lessons.
5.6 Semester 3: If you registered for one or more individual lessons, you are given two (2) months to complete each lesson (i.e., if you register for two [2] lessons, you are given four [4] months to complete the lessons).
Policy 6 – Cancellations, Changes to Enrollment, & Extension Requests
6.1 RDC does not issue refunds for registration fees.
6.2 If you are no longer able to participate in the CSCM Diploma Program, notify RDC as soon as possible and provide an explanation. RDC may allow your company to name a replacement to participate in the CSCM Diploma Program or allow you to deactivate your account until it is more convenient to participate in the course.
6.3 If you decide you would rather participate in an in-class session, notify RDC as soon as possible. RDC will deactivate your online CSCM account, notify you when the next in-class session will be, and will charge you the difference in price. In order to participate, you are required to pay the difference in full prior to the first day of the in-class session.
6.4 If you would like to request an extension, notify RDC as soon as possible and provide an explanation. RDC will make the decision to accept or deny your request based on the records of your online activity.
Policy 7 – How to Enroll
7.1 To enroll, RDC requires your:
- First name,
- Last name,
- Company name,
- Position at company,
- Street address,
- E-mail address,
- Telephone number, and
- Whether you’re permitted to receive member/supplier partner pricing.
Policy 8 – Payment
8.1 RDC accepts the following payment methods:
8.2 You are required to pay the registration fee in full before beginning the CSCM Diploma Program. If you are given permission by the Association to begin the program prior to paying the registration fee in full, you are required to pay outstanding fees in order to have access to the final exam.
8.3 You will not receive your diploma or credits if you have not paid an outstanding balance.
