Time Management Solutions
We understand that in-class participation can be difficult for working professionals. The 3 semester course is available online and consists of student guides, videos and multiple e-tools to allow for an enriched online education experience.
Accreditation Program
Following the graduation of the diploma program, students will have the opportunity to enroll in the Chemical Industry Regulatory Professional (CIRP) accreditation course.
Semester 1:
Diploma Course
Students who successfully complete semester one will be awarded with a diploma in the Fundamentals of the Chemical Supply Chain and have an understanding of the following:
- Evolution of Regulations in Canada
- Importing & Exporting into / from Canada
- Federal & Provincial Government legislative process
- Government advocacy, engagement and stakeholder participation
- Mandatory acronyms
*In order to participate in semester 2, students must graduate from semester 1
Semester 2:
Managing Federal Regulations Required for the Chemical Industry Regulatory Professional (CIRP) Designation
Students who successfully complete semester two will be awarded with CIRP designation and have an understanding of:
- Developing internal compliance programs
- Significant regulations in Canada
- Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
- Globally Harmonized Systems (GHS)
- Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA)
- Food & Drug Act
- Precursors
*In order to participate in semester 2, students must graduate from semester 1
Semester 2 In Class Session is also available by ZOOM video conferencing for out of town participants.
Semester 3:
Managing Provincial Regulations Required for the Chemical Industry Regulatory Professional (CIRP) Designation
Students enrolled in semester three will complete the course with a better understanding of:
- Workplace Health and Safety
- Employment Standards
- Worker Compensation
- Pesticides
- Air and water emissions
- Transportation
- Vehicle licensing
- Dangerous goods
- Storage tanks
- Toxic substances
- Waste and recycling
- Water

The Chemical Supply Chain Management (CSCM) education course is an online or in-class program designed and targeted to sales & marketing representatives, operations & regulatory personnel as well as executives working for or with foreign supply chain partners in the chemical industry.
