Policy 1 – Copyrights & Trademarks

1.1 All CSCM Diploma Program content, including but not limited to: the online program, any printed material, design, graphics, and text is copyright protected by Responsible Distribution Canada (RDC), also known as the Association. Copyright 2016. All rights reserved. All trademarks are registered to RDC.

 

Policy 2 – Use of Website & Program Material

2.1 Unless otherwise specified, the information RDC provides through the Chemical Supply Chain Management (CSCM) Diploma Program is for your personal use only. You may not modify, copy, distribute, display, reproduce, publish, license, or sell any of the information obtained from the CSCM Diploma Program without written permission from the Association.

2.2 You are subject to download and print hard copies of the material for your personal use, but are prohibited from distributing, reproducing, or displaying any CSCM Diploma Program information without written permission from the Association.

2.3 Harassment in any manner or form will not be condoned. This includes obscene, abusive, defamatory, invasive, or threatening language in locations such as e-mail, chats, forums, in-person, etc.

 

Policy 3 – Exams

3.1 You are given one attempt to successfully complete each exam.

3.2 You must complete the semester 1 multiple choice component of the exam in no more than one (1) hour, and the semester 2 multiple choice component of the exam in no more than two (2) hours. Your online session will automatically end, and you will be logged out when you reach the specified time, or your in class program facilitator will collect your exam material when you reach the specified time

3.3 Semester 1 Final Exam: The multiple choice and case study are both components of the final exam. Final grade component values are as follows: Multiple choice: 35%; Case study: 65%

3.4 Semester 2 Final Exam: The multiple choice and case studies are both components of the final exam. Final grade component values are as follows: Multiple choice: 50%; Case studies: 50%

3.5 Semester 3 Final Exam: The multiple choice and case studies are both components of the final exam. Final grade component values are as follows: Multiple choice: 35%; Case studies: 65%

3.6 Any incomplete components are the responsibility of the participant.

3.7 You must receive a minimum of seventy percent (70%) to pass and be eligible for the diploma and credits. Honours will be recognized for a grade of ninety percent (90%) or higher.

3.8 You will receive your final mark within seven (7) to ten (10) business days.

3.9 You have the right to request an explanation of your final mark.

3.10 Although you have the right to debate your final mark, to Association holds the authority to consider or negate your reasoning.

 

Policy 4 – Credentials

4.1 Diplomas earned for each semester expire 3 years from the date of semester completion.

4.2 Recertification lesson must be completed, along with any updated applicable lessons, previous to the 3-year expiry date in order to maintain your/each diploma in good standing.

4.3 Chemical Industry Regulatory Professional (CIRP) accreditation is earned once Semester 1, 2, & 3 are completed with a minimum grade of 70% in each Semester AND a professional thesis is submitted, reviewed and approved within 6 months of Semester 3 completion.

4.4 CIRP accreditation expires 3 years from date of thesis approval.

4.5 To maintain CIRP designation in good standing, the recertification course, including all updated regulatory content and any new lessons, must be completed previous to CIRP designation expiry date.

 

Policy 5 – Online Activity

5.1 The Association has access to records of your online activity on the CSCM Diploma Program website. Activity is logged with a date and time stamp.

 

Policy 6 – Online Program Contract Deadline

6.1 The first day of your program contract will be one (1) business day after the Association receives your registration information and full payment.

6.2 Semester 1: You are given six (6) months to complete the semester, consisting of seven (7) lessons.

6.3 Semester 2: You are given twelve (12) months to complete the semester, consisting of eight (8) lessons.

6.4 Semester 2: If you registered for one or more individual lessons, you are given two (2) months to complete each lesson (i.e., if you register for two [2] lessons, you are given four [4] months to complete the lessons).

6.5 Semester 3: You are given twelve (12) months to complete the semester, consisting of seven (7) lessons.

6.6 Semester 3: If you registered for one or more individual lessons, you are given two (2) months to complete each lesson (i.e., if you register for two [2] lessons, you are given four [4] months to complete the lessons).

 

Policy 7 – Cancellations, Changes to Enrollment, & Extension Requests

7.1 RDC does not issue refunds for online or in class registration fees.

7.2 If you are no longer able to participate in the CSCM Diploma Program, notify RDC as soon as possible and provide an explanation. RDC may allow your company to name a replacement to participate in the CSCM Diploma Program or allow you to deactivate your account until it is more convenient to participate in the course.

7.3 If you decide you would rather participate in an in-class session, notify RDC as soon as possible. RDC will deactivate your online CSCM account, notify you when the next in-class session will be, and will charge you the difference in price. In order to transfer your enrollment, you are required to pay the difference in full prior to the first day of the in-class session.

7.4 If you would like to request an extension, notify RDC as soon as possible and provide an explanation. RDC will make the decision to accept or deny your request based on the records of your online activity.

 

Policy 8 – How to Enroll

8.1 To enroll, RDC requires your:

  • First name,
  • Last name,
  • Company name,
  • Position at company,
  • Street address,
  • E-mail address,
  • Telephone number, and
  • Whether you’re permitted to receive member/supplier partner pricing.

Policy 9 – Payment

9.1 The Association accepts the following payment methods:

  • Credit card, and
  • Cheque

9.2 You are required to pay the registration fee in full before the start of the CSCM Diploma Program.
9.3 You will not receive your diploma or credits if you have not paid an outstanding balance

Policy 10 – Ethical Code of Conduct

10.1Ethical Code of Conduct. RDC/the Association as the creators of the Chemical Supply Chain Management program, upholds strict ethical policies. The Association will not tolerate any form of unethical behaviour and/or plagiarism, and students found to be engaging in these activities will face disciplinary action. Examples of ethical misconduct include but are not limited to:

  • Working with another student to complete any of the final exam case studies or multiple-choice midterm and final exams,
  • Giving your completed work to another student to use,
  • Receiving completed work from another student to submit as your own, and
  • Copying any work from the student material, internet sources, colleagues or fellow students.
